It is the fourth film to feature Daniel Craig as the fictional MI6 agent James Bond and the second film in the series directed by Sam Mendes following Skyfall.

Still, Sam Mendes’s SPECTRE was intended to be a massive 007 epic that would pull together elements from all the other Daniel Craig James Bond movies for what I’m sure they hoped would be a global blockbuster that could rival Skyfall. A cryptic message from James Bond's past sends him on a trail to uncover the existence of a sinister organisation named SPECTRE. It’s likely one of the most controversial James Bond movies of all time.
